Hello members and visitors!
Thank you for visiting our website, where I hope you will find the information you’re looking for whether you are a long standing member or a first time visitor!
Our aim is to support the membership and prospective members by providing resources, education and competition opportunities throughout the year. Many of these resources can be found on this website, particularly once you are logged in as a member.
We have been working hard at updating some of our important documents and song catalogue. Our association’s policies regarding privacy, data protection, child protection, complaints and communication are available in the Documents section, while further documents are found in the members section once you log in. You will also find our song library in the members section - these songs were acquired by IABS for education events throughout the years and contact details for their arrangers are supplied should you wish to purchase the rights to perform these songs.
We have uploaded some teaching resources which may be useful for those who are starting a new chorus or taking on a position of responsibility in their chorus. This includes some recordings of Zoom events which took place in 2020-2022 when our activities were limited to on-line format! Our website includes a Suggestion Box which members may use - we always appreciate your feedback.
IABS is now a mature organisation in its 30’s, and are delighted to have a strong and growing membership. We are thrilled to see the development of new quartets and choruses, particularly youth choruses, and we are here to support all singers, old and new, in whatever way we can.
You can stay up to date with events through our emails and social media channels, and please don’t hesitate to reach out when we may be of service to your chorus/quartet.
Best wishes,
Ailbhe Hayes, Chairperson
