IABS Education Group organises and co-ordinates tuition and education events around the country.

IABS Bootcamp was held took in Ennis on 2 and 3 February 2013.  A superb weekend was had by all who attended, with four of the best internationally-renowned educators imparting their expertise. Our trainers for the weekend were iQ, the current British Gold Medal Champions.

BURSARIES FOR IABS MEMBERS

IABS Executive is committed to facilitating opportunities in further education for our members, and in doing so, providing for the future development of the Association.

IABS has a policy of supporting all members, and where possible, furthering the barbershop ideals by providing training and workshops for directors, choruses and quartets, and by encouraging the educational and musical development of its membership in general.  IABS provides this support by offering:

• Competitions with highly qualified judges, follow-up evaluation sessions and educational training at the masterclasses at the IABS convention each year.
• Education and training at weekends/days with outstanding coaches from both U.K. and elsewhere.
• Financial support for such opportunities as attending Harmony and/or Director’s College in the U.K.
• Travel support for groups representing IABS abroad.
