Your IABS Executive has been meeting today 15th August 2009. The purpose of the meeting to continue the planning and structure of this new IABS Website. Issues have been resolved and continuous updating now means that all the latest news will be available to all IABS members and friends. All Executive members will be able to make changes and update news from all of the choruses so make sure you know who your nearest Executive member is!  In the near future every chorus will have their own slot where they can have contact details and information about themselves.  This will make it easier for potential barbershop singers to get in touch.

IABS Education Group in response to membership requests invited all members to attend a unique opportunity to sing all day at a Singers Day on Saturday 25th April 2009 at Convent of Mercy Secondary School, Ballymahon, Co. Longford 10.30 to 4.30.

The day was facilitated by Jon Conway A Natural Voice practitioner.

Jon has delivered workshops, seminars and summerschools in Europe. He is also a barbershopper and member of the British Quartet Champion Chorus 'The BQC'.
Jon also made himself available for coaching in the days immediately following Singers Day.

We are grateful to Jon for the time and care he took to get a larger number of members of different choruses singing in harmony and we look forward to his next visit.
