Dublin had the honour of hosting The Irish Assocition of Barbershop Singers Convention 2009. On this the 21st IABS Convention, the venue was The Helix, Dublin's finest auditorium only a short hop from the city centre.

This Annual Convention is the major event in the Barbershop calendar, especially on this noteworthy anniversary. The convention welcomes visiting choruses and quartets from around Europe and the USA as well as from various parts of Ireland. Click here for the convention website.

The 2008 IABS Barbershop Singers Convention came to Sligo for the first time on October 3rd. 2008!

A spectacular weekend of barbershop harmony was had with a big Sligo welcome from hosts '4 Bars Later'.
